I am an economist specializing in spatial economics, industrial policy, and economic history. My research uses general equilibrium modeling, applied econometric methods, and historical data to study the spatial dimensions of economic development.

Wu’s work examines the implications of federal wage policies on Southern industrial development, the design of industrial policies in open economies, and how environmental considerations affect firms’ technology choices.
